Like most states, Kentucky faces a shortage of licensed interpreters throughout the Commonwealth, particularly in rural areas.  Facing the crisis head on, KCDHH introduced Videoconferencing as a communication option allowing more flexibility for the deaf and hard of hearing consumer seeking state services.
